Drawing File Corruption In Autocad For Mac Or “Does Your Mac Speak English?”

Today I want everybody to pay attention to the necessity of compliance with all the system requirements for the current version of AutoCAD for Mac. On Autodesk site on the page, dedicated to System Requirements for AutoCAD for Mac you can read:

“System Requirements:

…U.S., U.K., or France keyboard layout.”

And it is pointed out not just by simple case. In fact, in some cases, failure to comply with this requirement may result in damage to a drawing file when you save it to your hard drive.

So go now to “Language and Text” Pane (10.6) or “International” Pane (10.5) of System Preferences and drag “English” to the top of Language list. Do not forget to logout and login again or restart Mac after you made changes.
